Did anyone stateside catch this at Okay Space, New York? Looks interesting.. As Okay reports, it’s a digital storytelling expo by Ghanian American photographer Joshua Kissi, showcasing the impact of direct relationships in the cocoa supply chain. He travelled to Ghana and the Ivory Coast to capture humanizing portraits of cocoa farmers, breaking with the single story of poor, powerless and vulnerable cocoa farmers. ‘Reframed, cocoa, and color’ celebrates the power, positivity and progress of cocoa in Ghana and the Ivory Coast. There’s a short video about the project at the link here
