It was fantastic to have more great news about my forthcoming single Damé Damé – it was chosen to be included as part of the inaugural exhibition Women in Sound Women on Sound Event at Goldsmiths University London. The theme and title of the event was S.E.E [Sound, Education, Experience], and it focused on the visibility of women in sound practice and music technology. It also aimed to celebrate and strengthen the existing fruitful and diverse network of women working across London in or with sound. I went along on the day, and it was a brilliant event with talks on challenges, work, experiences, perspectives and views on what it is like to work in the industry.
Hugely empowering and inspiring, and I was so proud to be part of it.
